Philip D'Aubigny

By NAM Rodger's spelling D'Aubigny but ("for most of the year Philip de Aubigné was was occupied with the defence of the south coast of England") the same Aubigne in Jersey 1204 who was Warden of the Islands 1207-1215 1217-1221 and whose son was warden 1219-1221 locum tenens and 1221-1224.

Jersey 1204 gives Aubigne the credit of the Battle of Dover and Eustace's capture and swift execution.
